The Sage Pre-Sales Intern position is seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused individual to support their software sales team. The role involves working closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to understand customer requirements, deliver product demonstrations, and provide technical guidance throughout the sales cycle. The primary objective is to help customers conceptualize solutions to business challenges using Sage's suite of solutions. Key responsibilities include collaborating with account executives, conducting product demonstrations, analyzing client business processes, responding to RFPs, RFIs, and technical documentation requests, liaising between sales and technical teams, staying current with product developments, competitor offerings, and industry trends, developing presales tools, demo environments, and customer use cases, providing feedback to product and development teams, and working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced sales environment. Successful candidates must have a grade 12 matric certificate, a bachelor's degree in accounting, a clear criminal record, and experience with software solutions. The position is a hybrid role, three days per week in the Midrand office. Successful candidates will join the Intern Programme on August 1, 2025, for 12 months.
